CHILLER - R718 HOSA

The chiller R718 HOSA is a chiller that uses water (R718) as a refrigerant, is manufactured in mass production and is based on an energy-saving technology. Chiller R718 is exempt from F-Gas-Regulation and refrigerant-related safety requirements, recommending sustainable refrigeration and energy release, saving time and costs. The unit enters free cooling mode when the coolant temperature drops slightly below the required chilled water temperature. Up to 80% energy savings over the course of a year, compared to other modern technologies

STRUCTURE OF CHILLER R718

The principle of adsorption works with the interaction of gases and solids. With adsorption cooling, molecular interactions between the solid and the gas allow the gas to be adsorbed onto the solid. The chiller’s adsorption chamber is filled with a solid material, silica gel, eliminating the need for moving parts and eliminating the noise associated with those moving parts. Silica gel creates an extremely low humidity condition that causes the water refrigerant to evaporate at low temperatures.

As the water evaporates in the evaporator, it cools the cold water. The adsorption chiller has four chambers; one evaporator, one condenser and two adsorption chambers. All four chambers are operated in a near-complete vacuum.

Cooling power range (W): 20 – 45 kW

Temperature control: 16~22oC

Humidity control: 10~28%

Dimensions (L*W*H):

Motor: AC or EC

Weight:

A chiller is a machine that removes heat from a liquid through an absorption or vapor compression refrigeration cycle. This liquid can then be recirculated through a heat exchanger to cool the air or equipment as required. An industrial chiller is classified as a refrigeration system that cools process fluids or dehumidifies air in commercial and industrial facilities. The chiller will use a vapor compression or absorption cycle for cooling. Chilled water has a wide variety of applications from space cooling to use in processes.
